When I first started this blog it was all about cupcakes. However, now that I have grown more confident with my baking and cooking skills, I blog about everything from apple pie to boeuf bourguignonne! My blog has essentially become a way for me to keep track of my progress, as well as to record all the recipes I've tried.
There is also a sub-chapter of How To Eat A Cupcake called Not Your Momma's Test Kitchen. I originally created it as a separate blog, but I decided it would be more practical to keep all my eggs in one basket.
I’m a 23 year old girl. I am a graduate of community college. I'm a self-taught baker/business owner. Yeah, that's right! I'm co-owner of Flour Child Bakery with my mom! ;) I’m addicted to Frontierville on Facebook. I spend entire days catching up on my DVR list. I frequently live in another universe known as the blogosphere. But what makes me happiest is feeding my friends and family food that I’ve made with my own hands. When I can tell them every single ingredient they’ll be tasting in each and every bite. When their eyes close and that quiet “mmmm” slips out. When they go for seconds. When they ask what’s for dessert (and I made that too). That’s when I feel most satisfied.
Flour Child Bakery is scheduled to open early Fall 2010! ;)
